For over 50 years, Marvin pruners have become standard equipment for power and light companies, cemetery and city park tree surgeons, greens keepers, orchard growers and arborists.

Marvin pruners are designed to make your job easy. Their powerful blades cut limbs up to 1 1/4" in diameter with ease. Yet, they're surprisingly lightweight--a complete cutting head weighs only 1 lb. 12 oz. The slim design permits access to many areas not reached by more bulky pruners. And the cutting blade is made of high-grade steel to permit several resharpenings.

Choose from a variety of Marvin pruners engineered to meet your specific needs. The Marvin PH-4R has a round casting for easy mounting to fiberglass or octagonal wood poles. The Marvin PH-3 has a square casting. The Marvin PH-9 has a double pulley design for extra leverage and cutting power. The Marvin PH-2 features a swivel pulley.

These pruners will cut limbs up to 1-1/2" in diameter with ease.

Marvin sawheads and pruning heads have a round casting for easy mounting to fiberglass or octagonal wood poles.

Wood Pruner Poles

Marvin offers two wood poles, 1 1/4" octagonal or a 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" rectangular cut. Ash and poplar poles are available in an assortment of lengths. Each pole is hand made to assure its utmost strength and durability.

Fiberglass Pruner Poles

Marvin fiberglass poles are lightweight, extremely durable and available in several lengths. The wall thickness is 25% greater than the average pole to ensure rigidity. The dielectric strength of each pole exceeds 25,000 volts/inch. They are NOT to be used as "hot sticks". Electrically tested poles are available upon request. Marvin pole extension couplings are made with aircraft quality aluminum and can be easily detached if a pole is damaged in the field.
